EDE studied Industrial Design and Technology at Loughborough University. His work was part of the official selection at the New Designer's Exhibition 2006 in London. EDE has since expanded his skills in design to suit numerous areas of interest. In 2005 he co-founded and ran a successful web-design partnership, ‘The Design Elevator’. Currently EDE works professionally as a stills photographer for regional newspapers, and also in freelance furniture design.

EDE first worked for Deckchair in prop-design for Richard III (Bloomsbury Theatre). Most recently he was Director of Photography on the feature film La Bella Figura and as Designer for the Living History TV pilots. Other responsibilities involve web design, print, publicity and general aspects of production.

In other media EDE has trained as a sound engineer, and over the past 7 years has produced six albums whilst a percussionist for three bands: Fuchsia, Inertia Reel, and Feverfew.
