Deckchair is excited to be involved once again with the Leuka Mini-Masters tournament, held annually at Dukes Meadows golf club in July. The event, organised by Dan Davies (of Esquire magazine) together with '3's A Crowd' is a totally unique blend of Summer garden party, music festival and charity golfing, which is now a firm fixture in both the sporting and social calendars.
Having supported Leuka for the last three years with our client PMG, Deckchair is proudly sponsored this years event with a promotional film from the Penthouse Putt-off which can be seen here. The charity is highly important and very dear to Dougray Scott, the tournament's patron since playing a Leukemia sufferer in the film
Previous years' celebrity golfers have included Jodie Kidd, Rob Brydon, Tim Henman, Hugh Grant, Johnny Vaughan, Damien Lewis and Jameela Jamil.
Below is a gallery from the 2011 event from resident Deckchair photographer Felix Kunze. Amongst the photos are celebrity team-mates Darren Gough, Gian-Luca Vialli, Ray Wilkins, Gabby Logan, Chris O'Dowd, James Nesbitt, Tim Lovejoy, Steve Backley, Geraint Vincent, JJ Field and Neve Campbell. Also playing were Nick Easter, Jamie Theakston, Delon Armitage, Richrd Bacon. Take a look at Deckchair's promotional film for the event here.
Many congratulations and thanks to tournament director Dan Davies, for another excellent day in aid of Leukaemia and the Hammersmith Hospital.
