Last year filmmakers Chris Howarth and Lee Kazimir, were introduced through their connection with Deckchair to collaborate on an incredible documentary in support of street children in Africa - 'Across Kenya'

Chris Howarth co-wrote the short film 'Circles & Lines'with Harry Otto Brünjes for Arts Ed whilst on the MA Creative Writing at City University. Lee Kazimir directed Harry as his lead man in a number of films and plays whilst at UCL, including 'We Six' at the Bloomsbury, the short film 'Caught Whilst Shaving', and in the play 'The Hunchback Variations' as Quasi Modo.

Lee had recently compleleted the multi-award winning documentary 'More Shoes' - where he followed the advice of director Werner Herzog's maybe too literally - and walked 5000km from Madrid to Kiev.

Whilst Chris Howarth was planning the run of a lifetime - 1110 miles across the entire breadth of Kenya, a feat never before achieved, he was seeking a filmmaker to assist and Lee Kazimir flew over from Chicago to help. See the trailer below, and be sure to keep an eye out for all of their work in the future -

If anyone wants to get in touch or donate for the street children cause you can see the Run Kenya page  here or email Chris Howarth directly on chris@hearourvoicekenya.com
