TERRIBILITÀ is a character-based drama charting
the last decade of Michelangelo Buonarroti and his renowned
terribilità: terrifying awesomeness. As
the greatest protagonist in the history of art, aspiring
successor Giorgio Vasari picks apart the myths surrounding
the nature and personal life of ‘the divine artist’
in an attempt to bring the old man back down to earth.
Based on fact and extensive research Terribilità
offers a gripping and challenging view of Michelangelo.
Following a degree in History of Art, Harry spent 5 months
working at the Vatican in Rome to research and write the
play in 2005. Harry has aspirations to develop the play
into a book, where there is room to support the story
with his research.
