In 2008, Deckchair's director, Harry Otto Brünjes, associate produced the inaugural HighTide Festival. Harry worked alongside artistic directors, Steven Jon Atkinson and Sam Hodges to curate a line up of some of the best young film making talent in the UK.

The short film program was screened alongside feature films from leading writers and directors with a selection of exclusive Q & As and master classes completed by an audience award, The Silver Pebble for the favourite short.

Featured guests included Sir Tom Stoppard, Michael Palin and filmmakers Asif Kapadia and Ed Blum amongst others, interviewed by Radio 4 Front Row's host, Mark Lawson.

HighTide festival has since gone from strength to strength as one of the leading reparatory theatre companies in the UK supported by patrons Bill Nighy, Sinead Cusack and Sally Greene.
