Harry Otto Brünjes with William Shatner at the Marbella Film Festival

2009 has seen Deckchair's director, Harry Otto Brünjes, involved on the judging panel of the Marbella Film Festival in southern Spain. The panel consists of eight industry filmmakers and professionals who, between them, viewed over a thousand entries of shorts, feature films and documentaries.

Amongst a variety of stars on the red carpet, the biggest name was William Shatner, who arrived to promote his film Gonzo Ballet, set his spoken word album, Has Been, recorded with Ben Folds.

William Shatner, the true legend of screen and TV, most famous for his role as Captain Kirk on Star Trek and most recently his role in the hit TV show Boston Legal, was both amusing and gentlemanly. Shatner helps to draw in a strong variety of filmmakers from across Europe.
